How it all began

In 2023, I started Kelpie Cove with a heart full of love for the ocean and a vision to make a difference. The sea has always been a source of inspiration for me, particularly the intertidal region. Witnessing the impacts of climate change, I felt a deep urge to do something meaningful – not just for the ocean, but for our health and the planet's future. Kelpie Cove is more than a company; it's a personal mission to bring the sea's hidden treasures to your table through our unique seaweed salts and seasonings.

Every jar of seasoning we create is a blend of passion and purpose. We partner with Seagreens in the UK, pioneers in sustainable seaweed harvesting, ensuring that our ingredients are not just delicious but responsibly sourced. Our commitment goes beyond our products – we dedicate 10% of our proceeds to rebuilding kelp ecosystems, an initiative close to my heart. As a part of 1% for the Planet, we're actively involved in community projects like Seatrees, focusing on nurturing the marine life that has always captivated me.

Looking forward, I dream of bringing the wonders of seaweed into every kitchen, replacing ordinary condiments with healthier, ocean-inspired alternatives. The California coast, a place of endless inspiration and beauty, reminds me daily of why I embarked on this journey.
